The Italian Place is an amazing Italian sandwich and pizza restaurant that recently made its debut in Fairfax. The flagship location of the gourmet market is located in Old Town Alexandria, but both eateries serve fresh Italian subs, pizza, and more. Adriana and George Sifakis opened The Italian Place in 2016 as a way to honor Adriana’s Italian roots and the importance and value of family. 

Some of the top menu items include the pizza, which comes in meatball, veggie, pepperoni, cheese, meat lover’s, and Nutella options. The Italian subs are another popular choice. Go for the Eva (mortadella, salami, provolone, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, lettuce, special olive oil, and seasonings) or the Alessandra (prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, special olive oil, and seasoning).
