The Woodlawn Needlework Show showcases the best of the best of local needlework from local artists and this year they’re hosting their 59th annual show throughout the month of March.
This year’s show theme is “Common Threads”, which will focus on the commonalities that unite people in their communities and their families through multi-generational pursuits of needlework craft.
Entries into the show have already been submitted for the show and will be judged throughout the show’s exhibition. Needlework pieces will be judged by the division, category, and technique in which the art piece was made.
The Woodlawn Needlework Show will also be featuring a sale of needlework pieces that attendees can purchase from those who have entered the show and are interested in selling their artwork.
Tickets for the 59th annual Woodlawn Needlework Show are $15 for adults and $6 for students K-12. Admission is free for children ages 5 and under.
The show will take place at the Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey House Historic Site from March 3 to March 31, excluding Tuesdays. The show’s exhibition will run from 10 am to 4 pm.
