Run, jog, walk, or roll at the Moore Equity in Mental Health 5k! The APA’s Division of Diversity and Health Equity aims to help individuals and organizations that support awareness programs and provide services to improve the mental health of young people of color. 

The Moore Equity in Mental Health 5k honors mental health advocate, Bebe Moore Campbell. Whom the race has been named after. 

All raised funds benefit the APA Foundation Moore Equity in Mental Health Community Grants Program.

Participation and registration for this race is free! However, each person who registers is considered a fundraiser. Different awards are provided based on how much money is fundraised by a participant. 

Between $100- $249.99: Sport-Tek PosiCharge Tee and Race Medal. 

Between $250- $499.99: Sport-Tek PosiCharge Tee, Race Medal, and H2Go Concord Metallic Bottle. 

$500+: Sport-Tek PosiCharge Tee, Race Medal, H2Go Concord Metallic Bottle, and North Face® DryVent™ Rain Jacket. 

While the race takes place July 9th, with check-in starting at 7 am, at Anacostia Park in Washington, D.C.; fundraising can continue through the end of July.
